Wireless Tilt and Shock Sensor

The Kwêbeam Tilt and Shock sensor is designed to provide reliable detection of both tilt and shock events. It incorporates advanced sensing technology that ensures accurate monitoring and response to changes in its environment.

The detector features eight customisable sensitivity settings. This flexibility allows for precise calibration, ensuring that the detector responds appropriately to shocks according to the chosen environment and application.

Typical applications are to monitor theft and vandalism on gate motors, solar panels, borehole pumps and other fixed assets. Opening and closing of garage doors can be monitored when the sensor is mounted on the inside of the garage door.

The enclosure is designed to meet the IP65 rating standard. This ensures that the enclosure provides a high level of protection against outdoor weather conditions. For ease of installation, the enclosure supports flexible mounting options. It can be securely attached using either screws or cable ties.

Distances up to 1 km is possible between devices, without any repeaters (Line Of Sight between devices). The range is highly depended on the environment & will reduce dramatically with walls & structures in close vicinity. For this reason, the Tilt and Shock sensor has Built-In repeater functionality to overcome range issues in highly dense building environments.

The device operates using two CR123 lithium batteries as its power source. These batteries last up to six years under normal use.
