Wireless Range Extender (Repeater)

Distances up to 1 km is possible between devices, without any repeaters (Line Of Sight between devices). The range is highly depended on the environment & will reduce dramatically with walls & structures in close vicinity. For this reason, the Range Extender has a repeater functionality to overcome range issues in highly dense building environments.

Multi-Hop, also known as daisy chain repeating, enables the extension of signal coverage by allowing one repeater to relay the signal to another. This sequential connection continues until the signal reaches the HUB, facilitating reliable communication across greater distances or challenging environments.

The Range Extender has a built-in accelerometer, which serves as a detection mechanism for potential theft or sabotage attempts. This sensor continuously monitors movement, enabling the device to identify suspicious activity that may indicate tampering or unauthorized removal.

The enclosure is designed to meet the IP65 rating standard. This ensures that the enclosure provides a high level of protection against outdoor weather conditions. For ease of installation, the enclosure supports flexible mounting options. It can be securely attached using either screws or cable ties.

The device operates using two CR123 lithium batteries as its power source. These batteries last up to six years under normal use.
